My name is Michael Ferrier I am a member of the American Association of Professional Farriers, I am also a Certified Massage Therapist.

I do my best to continue my education so that I am giving both you and your horse the best possible result at every visit. I work at expanding my knowledge continually in the fields of a Farrier and a Massage Therapist. My goal is to work with your horse to understand and help resolve any problems your horse is experiencing. I look at the big picture so that I can effectively help you to resolve any problems that may occur throughout every day living.

Even though my last name is Ferrier (an alternate spelling for the same trade) my experience working with horses didn’t start until I was near the end of high school. Then through a series of events I got to work with a Professional Farrier for a day and I liked the job enough to pursue it as a career. I worked full time with that Farrier as their apprentice for two years then decided to expand my knowledge and experience at a Farrier school named Meredith Manor. I completed their nine month Farrier program and their Massage Therapist program. Every waking moment at Meredith Manor I spent learning everything I could about how to improve my Farrier skills and how to make a horse more comfortable. I graduated the Farrier program with the highest award from both my fellow students and from the staff while maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade average. I am now a member of the American Association of Professional Farriers and ready to work with you and your horse. I do all my work to the best of my ability and to the glory of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
